i also verified that neither meshes or textures were being overwritten as a loose file, or in a BSA archive via xedit. checked the texture installations and the male and female textures match, but they both have green malachite. The helmet also seems to be properly golden but with blue and green malachite. but the gauntlets and boots stay the same colors as the female version. going into racemenu to change to male makes the main armor piece properly colored, golden with blue malachite. the female armor is a darker color and the glass portions of the armor is the same color as vanilla glass. i have the golden armor variant installed.
